The Kruger Collection is proud to co-sponsor In.Form, the scholarly journal of the University of Nebraska College of Architecture. Each volume seeks to explore a different theme or concept relating to architecture, design and material culture. A peer-reviewed journal, In.Form welcomes contributions for volume 8, The INFORMation Age.
In.Form announces a unique issue committed to evaluating the use of computers and technology in architecture and design. Articles may discuss how architecture and design differ when computers and technology are implemented into these fields. For example, how has the use of technology benefited the field of architecture and design? How could the use of technology be improved? In addition, articles may incorporate how technology is used in the design of interiors, exteriors, and all related fields to design. Is the use of computers and technology necessary in the development of design? What about cultural differences - is the use of computers and technology in design different in North America than it is in Asia? - or how has technology improved communications?
The deadline for submissions for Volume 8 is October 1, 2007. Only complete papers will be accepted – please do not send abstracts. Authors, artists, and designers will be responsible for obtaining copyright permission for images submitted within text.
